Short-Term Programs

Are you ready to serve the Lord?

Want to learn what a matzo ball, a mitzvah and the Messiah have in common?

Do you have a love for God's chosen people?

This is a time of great opportunity for believers who have a heart for the Jewish people.  Are you one of them?  If so, then a short-term experience in Jewish outreach - including evangelism, discipleship and hands-on training - is for you!

The Great Commission challenge "to the Jew first" (Romans 1:16) is just as true today as it ever was - and the opportunities to share the Gospel with Jewish people are greater than ever!

Shalom Toronto

This year Shalom Toronto will run from the afternoon of Wednesday, May 30 through the afternoon of Saturday, June 2, 2018.

The program is overseen by Ben Volman, Messianic Rabbi of Kehillat Eytz Chaim / Tree of Life Congregation

This training and outreach program will feature teaching by Doug Pyle, author of two outstanding books related to Jewish evangelism. He is a Chosen People Ministries colleague based in New York City with many years of experience reaching Orthodox Jewish students in campus ministry.

This year’s program will include our regular orientation classes on Jewish ministry and feature seminars by Doug. Small teams will do outreaches in Jewish neighbourhoods in Toronto and the City of Vaughan.

our New York office, we have a variety of other short-term service opportunities.  If you are interested in finding out more about any of the programs described below, please visit our US/International site.

eXperience Israel

A spiritual pilgrimage designed for young adults (ages 18-35) who want to engage with God by walking through the pages of biblical history and serving the people who live in Israel.

Outreach Israel

The Outreach Israel ministry trip is designed for college students and individuals ages 18-30 who are interested in reaching Israelis for the Messiah. Outreach Israel offers excellent opportunities to witness for the Lord and encourage Israeli youth who are a part of congregations in the Land.

Backpacking Trips

On our backpacking trips we are able to encounter hundreds of Israelis who travel to exciting destinations - such as New Zealand, India, and Argentina - in search of the answers to life's most daunting questions.

Shalom Brooklyn

Brooklyn, New York now has the largest concentration of Jewish people in the United States, and second in the world only to Israel itself. This thriving and diverse Jewish population, which includes everything from secular Israelis to the ultra-Orthodox, provides a tremendous opportunity to reach the broader Jewish community - and that's what you'll be doing, should the Lord open the door, with our short-term outreach Shalom Brooklyn (previously called STEP), which takes place every summer in New York City.
