Toronto Messianic Centre

Construction

Has Begun!

We are thrilled to report that, by the grace and faithfulness of God, construction on Phase 2 of the Toronto Messianic Centre has finally begun.

During the first week of October, the builders parked their trailer and equipment on our property.  Work began the following week with framing and preparation for the new roof.  Once this is completed, the air conditioner/ furnace will be raised to the top of the building.  The plan is to have the second floor enclosed before winter arrives, finishing the inside work during the cold weather.

While construction of the second floor takes place, our normal office operations continue on the first floor of the Messianic Centre.  Our wonderful staff is adapting well to the new working conditions.  For that, I am grateful.  The builders believe we will be able to continue working on the first floor for the most part, although there will be days when we might need to close the building.  We will plan for those times so that our operation is not interrupted.  Please keep us in your prayers during this transition period, facing each challenge as it appears.

CATCH A VISION

FOR TORONTO

Did you know that Toronto is not only one of the most multi-cultural cities in North America, but it is also one of the leading centres of Jewish culture?

It boasts a wonderfully vibrant, active Jewish community with film and music festivals, excellent traditional Jewish and Israeli dining, Judaica shops and bookstores.

There are an estimated 250,000 Jewish people in the Greater Toronto Area, including many immigrants from the former Soviet Union and from Israel.

Toronto is also the home of several Messianic congregations and the Canadian headquarters of Chosen People Ministries. A number of congregations have already been planted by our Mission and we are excited to have our own Kehillat Eytz Chaim / Tree of Life Congregation in North York.

Join us as we reach out to Canada’s largest Jewish community explaining our hope in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).

“Brothers, my heart’s deepest desire and my prayer to God for Isra’el is for their salvation” (Romans 10:1, CJB).
